With over 30 years of experience in date palm tissue culture, MDPP was founded in 2010 by Prof. Abdelouahhab Zaid to promote the sustainable development of the date palm sector in Morocco and beyond. Through partnerships with leading institutions including INRA, UAEU, FAO, and UNDP, MDPP has grown into an internationally recognized center for date palm propagation and agricultural innovation. The project supports the Green Morocco Plan by providing quality date palm plants produced through advanced tissue culture techniques, building technical expertise, and fostering collaboration through research, training, and international initiatives.
